RECYCLING A REMEDY

The array of fungi found growing during the autumn are undoubtedly a beautiful sight. Some are destructive to weakened trees while many support the ecological process of decomposition by breaking down cellulose in dead wood, recycling minerals, carbons and other nutrients. A select few have been used in traditional medicine for centuries though beware as most are poisonous. Wild Reishi (Ganoderma Tsugae), Red Belted Conk, Blushing Bracket and Lacquered Bracket are just a few that are easily visible in the forests close to home. #naturesremedy #forestbathing #foresttherapy #skeesafari #bracketfungi #floraandfauna #herbalremedies
